Roy Zimmerman will once again bring his Music to Lake County on Friday October 25. Come to the Big Valley Hall, 1510 Big Valley Road, Finley, for an evening of fun political satire. Herb Gura will also provide comedic entertainment.

The Boyles Fire started around 2PM, Sunday September 8 near the Cache Creek Apartments in The Avenues in Clearlake. It spread Northward to 20th Avenue, reaching 81 acres and involving approximately 30 structures. Containment has reached 100%.

The only remaining evacuation order is for the area most effected by the fire:

• South of  18th Avenue
• East of Irving Street
• North of 7th Avenue
• West of Boyles Avenue.

The Ridge Fire started near Walker Ridge Road, close to Highway 20, on Saturday July 20, 2024. It quickly spead to the NorthEast into Colusa County, towards Wilbur Hot Springs. Containment has reached 100%, and all evacuations and road closures have been lifted..

The regular 3rd Thursday of the month Board meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 22 at 6:15 PM.  Apologies for the short notice from Board President, Olga Martin Steele.

The installation of our Studio-Transmitter Link has been completed. You should expect a reliable signal for the foreseeable future.

The system (STL) that sends the radio signal from the studio to Mt Konocti for broadcast over the transmiiter/antenna has been failing for sometime. KPFZ has purchased new equipment to replace the old units.
