Applications are being accepted for the Lake County Community Radio, Inc., Board of Directors. The deadline to submit an application is close of business, November 9, 2019. Elections will be held at the Thursday, November 21st Board meeting.
Due to the passing of Board Member Nick Baker, there is one vacancy at this time. Also, 5 current Board Members are up for re-election. Board members may re-apply. Terms are for a 2-year period.
Applications are available at the radio station, 149 N. Main St., Lakeport, in a holder on the studio hallway door. You can also find an application online on our website. Questions may be directed to Board President Olga Martin Steele at 916-849-8170.
Applicants must have attended two or more Board meetings and be willing to participate on various standing ad hoc committees; serve on at least one standing committee; support fund raising efforts and LCCR, Inc. events; attend Board member and related training; and abide by the policies, by-laws and guidelines set forth by the LCCR, Inc.
