“Driving Miss Daisy” to be on KPFZ

Memorial to Joan Holman and Walter Robinson
In memory of Joan Holman and Walter Robinson, who both passed away in 2009, KPFZ will present an original radio production of “Driving Miss Daisy” by Alfred Uhry during Thanksgiving week (November 22-26). The play stars Holman and Robinson and also stars Derrick Harvey. The play was originally produced for the stage by the Lake County Repertory Theater in Lower Lake, and then produced as a radio play for KPFZ.

The theatrical version was produced by Ginger Ingersoll, directed by Mary Howe. Radio version produced by Andy Weiss. Also, included in the production are interviews with some of the participants, as well as a journey through how a radio play is produced.
