KFPZ Harvest Fund Drive - Saturday, November 10, 2018

Join us on KPFZ's annual one day Harvest Fund Drive Saturday, November 10, 2018.  Putting the fun in fund drive is Stu hosting a special live Surface Noise show at 7:00 a.m.  Other programmers and guests will be dropping by throughout the day to urge our members to continue to support Lake County Community Radio and encourage listeners to become a member.  Memberships and donations from our listeners are vital to keeping KPFZ on the air.  As Wikipedia says:

"Community stations serve geographic communities and communities of interest. They broadcast content that is popular and relevant to a local, specific audience but is often overlooked by commercial or mass-media broadcasters. Community radio stations are operated, owned, and influenced by the communities they serve. They are generally nonprofit and provide a mechanism for enabling individuals, groups, and communities to tell their own stories, to share experiences and, in a media-rich world, to become creators and contributors of media."

Memberships are available at various levels.  To become a member today, KPFZ Membership.  Even better, bring a dish or beverage to share on Saturday, November 10, to the KPFZ Studio at 149 North Main Street in Lakeport.  Volunteers are always needed to help answer phones, give testimomials, and help request donations.  Come on down and meet the KPFZ Progammers and volunteers.  Take a tour of the station.

See you Saturday, November 10th!
