This week, Early Music heads a bit South and East from Gregorianchantville to Turkey! While much of what I play on Early Music is centered around European musics from 800 to 1600, I do like to add traditional music from cultures around the world. And, hey, I like Baklava and Imam Bayaldi as much as the next guy, so... This week - it's traditional music from Turkey!
This is Early Music episode 116. If you have suggestions or would like to get in touch, email me at musickpfz@gmail.com.
