The Boyles Fire started around 2PM, Sunday September 8 near the Cache Creek Apartments in The Avenues in Clearlake. It spread Northward to 20th Avenue, reaching 81 acres and involving approximately 30 structures. Containment has reached 100%.
The only remaining evacuation order is for the area most effected by the fire:
- South of 18th Avenue
- East of Irving Street
- North of 7th Avenue
- West of Boyles Avenue.
A shelter has been set up at Twin Pines Casino in Middletown for those displaced.
